Updated on Marnie Stern’s kissing booth. A review: http://tinyurl.com/64r6p7
God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’

Home Visit: Soup With Prince: The Talk of the Town: The New Yorker

Prince talks about God’s wrath for the gays. Who knew the purple one was so principled (and was that an awful pun or what?).

Via Stereogum.

Maybe I’m not looking in the right place: can someone point me toward one reasonable argument in favor of bailing out U.S. automakers?

Drunk Fail

I wish voters had overcome their identity crises and supported gay marriage. But many same-sex marriage advocates have been talking past the people they need to convince: the large, moderate opposition that voted for sex difference, not homophobia. Dropping the oversimplified analogy between racism and homophobia would help same-sex marriage supporters make their case more effectively. Racism is the wrong analogy for opposition to same-sex marriage. - By Richard Thompson Ford
